Principle of mass flow meter

Coriolis mass flowmeter

 

Under the effect of additional alternating working voltage, the transducer A produces alternating changing forces, making the two u-shaped tubes vibrate one by one, which is equal to the continuous shaking of the two hoses in the opposite direction. The transducer B and C are used to test the vibration of the two tubes.Since B is on the inlet side and C is on the outlet side, according to the rule that the vibration phase of the inlet and outlet side is ahead of that of the inlet side, the position of the alternating data signal output by C will be ahead of a certain position of B.The size of the phase difference is proportional to the mass flow rate.If the phase difference between the two ac data signals is further converted into dc 4-20ma and other standard data signals, it will become a mass flow intelligent transmitter.

 

The mass flowmeter has a high precision of measurement and is suitable for measuring the total flow of single-phase current and miscible fluid with high viscosity and density.Because of the structure and so on, this kind of mass flowmeter is suitable for medium and small size pipeline total flow test.
